Experience by Title: Professional copywriter, marketer, programmer, project manager, team leader, outside sales professional, sales leader, CEO, Entrepreneur

Other Experience: Writer, coach, mentor, blogger, social media adopter/advisor, online marketer, volunteer, business networker

Today, Kirch is best known as an accomplished sales and sales management professional, though his background is so much broader. CEO, entrepreneur, coach, writer, mentor and leader are just a few of the words used to describe him today.  Ironically enough, Kirch rose from very humble beginnings to have a very successful career.  Born and raised in a Characteristics of an entrepreneur at ActusMR, Inc.rundown town in the Midwest with less than 400 people, his career could have definitely gone down another path.  He could have succumbed to limiting beliefs which afflicted many others around him.  Fortunately, from an early age and throughout his career, Kirch has proven to be a big picture visionary, which has helped him have an edge throughout his professional life.  It’s one of the many reasons he is the perfect person to act as your trusted advisor in order to help you reach your goals and objectives.

In 1988, as a sales intern for a progressive, young advertising agency, while pursuing a degree in Journalism, he discovered a passion for writing and started working as a professional copywriter, writing advertisements, developing marketing pieces and other related projects.  Writing and developing copy is a skill which has given him and his clients’ great advantages.  It also helped him, later, become a blogger and social media adopter and advisor.  From there, in 1990, he joined the world famous Gallup Organization.  He spent 10 years in operations at Gallup, serving in various operations roles, such as programmer, project manager, and technical consult team lead. He was awarded with various prestigious awards during his time, such as Innovator of the Year, Rising Star, and many more.   During that time, he was responsible for managing some of Gallup’s most high profile accounts, including AT&T, TCI Cable, Blue Cross – Blue Shield, and many more.

Though he was highly decorated and was successful by many standards, he always felt unfulfilled, due to his burning desire become a business owner.  His dependence on a paycheck kept him from pursuing his true entrepreneurial dream.  Instead, he sought out the most entrepreneurial job available, which still allowed him to receive the paycheck he was so reliant upon.  In 2000, he left Gallup to pursue a career in sales and sales leadership. He was always a top performer, receiving President’s Club status multiple times throughout his sales tenure.  In fact, during his time at a large global marketing services agency, he was the first person to receive President’s Club recognition in his rookie year.  In addition, he has achieved and maintained Professional Research Certification (PRC) for the sales mastery category.  We All Need A Reason. Here is mine. His experience and reputation made him highly sought after, which helped him land a leadership role for an established technology and marketing services firm.  Serving as sales leader and executive team member, he helped them achieve rapid growth.  The end result was an acquisition by a larger global company.   After playing a very active role in the transition, Kirch decided it was time to pursue his entrepreneurial dream, leveraging everything he learned throughout his time as an employee.

During his career, he has built a reputation as a leader, strong communicator, big picture thinker, trusted partner, consultant and friend to many. Those skills, along with his many other positive character traits, prepared him to lead his own company and to help others pursue their passion of business ownership.

Kirch has learned many powerful lessons throughout his professional tenure, such as the power of giving back. Through volunteerism, he has developed a strong personal brand and has been seen as a trusted advisor and leader. He has served as a board member and volunteer for various business organizations including the American Marketing Association (AMA), Puget Sound Research Forum (PSRF), Travel and Tourism Research Association (TTRA) and Marketing Research Association (MRA), where he serves on a Past-Presidents Advisory Council.  He is also currently serving on the Board of Governors and as an advisor to the Market Research Global Alliance (MRGA) and serves as the social media adviser for other professional organizations.  Characteristics of an entrepreneur - Tango and KirchHe is an active volunteer with other national and local business networking groups and also spends time helping mentor college students and entrepreneurs.  He also has established and participated in several mastermind groups, dedicated to helping other entrepreneurs reach their maximum potential.  In addition, he co-founded, and serves as host, the business talk show “Business Beyond the Trenches,” with online marketing expert, Jimmy Tango (visit www.tangoandkirch.com).
